    Hm The AAP just changed their recommendations for a kid’s daily vitamin D intake – from 200IU to 400IU!

    D3 is NOT a vitamin. It is integral to the immune system. Without it or with low levels all the modern non-infectious diseases arise (e.g., heart disease, cancer, etc.). BTW, my friend has had his toddler (18m) on D3 since he was an infant. He has NEVER had otitis media (Latin for “Infection of the Middle Ear”) which is the bread & butter of pediatricians.
