Disinfecting the skin and the breakouts that you don’t see yet rather than just treating what is happening on the surface. Always start out with the lowest strength 2.5% and then work up to 5-10% benzoyl peroxide if you have to. 2.5% can work extremely well and is less irritating and drying than the higher strengths.
